April 28, 2024- One might think that an indoor matinee concert on a beautiful Spring day, might have band and fans a little flat. Well brace yourself Bridget, as the Old Blind Dogs had something much more energetic in mind. After a tour wrought with venue changes, m.i.a. promoter, immigration hassles that kept a longtime member off the tour, an earlier morning 6 hour trek from southwestern Colorado to Denver, the Dogs hit the stage at the Oriental Theater (The “O_) with a vengeance! Primed by laughs from comedian Dr Kevin Fitzgerald, the fans were in a great mood. The Dogs put on a brilliant show- rock’in feeding off the enthusiastic fans who were often on their feet – with some dancing away on a makeshift dance floor behind the sound board. The staff and tech crew at the “O” were awesome too. All in all a beautiful day in the Tennyson Street Arts district!..
