“once” returns to Denver in performances from May 24th -29th at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Live music and cocktail included with tickets for the 26th performance and an accessible presentation at the matinee show at 2 PM on the 28th with American Sign Language, Open Captioning and Audio Description available. Avourneen performs for the crowd at Katie Mullen’s on the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver on the 6th, 13th and 27th at 9 PM, at Jack Quinn’s in Colorado Springs at 8 PM on the 7th, at the Alamo Drafthouse in Littleton at 6 PM before a screening of the film “once” and continuing the theme plays at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House at 6:30 PM on the 26th before the live performance of “once”. Adam Goldstein, lead singer and guitarist, does his usual Saturday late-night gigs at Lannie’s Clocktower Cabaret on the 14th, 21st and 28th.
Fresh from the stage of the Colorado Tartan Day Festival, Delilah’s Revenge returns to Longmont for a show on the 20th at the Dickens Opera House. Doors open at 7 PM.
Skean Dubh is at The Laughing Goat on Pearl St. just off the Mall in Boulder on the 7th from 9:30-11:30 PM, at the Jamestown Mercantile on the 14th at 6 PM and on stage for the Beltainia Festival (http://www.beltania.org/) at the La Foret Conference and Retreat Center in the Black Forest on the 21st at 3 PM.
Brian Clancy charms the assembled multitude at Jack Quinn’s in downtown Colorado Springs on Thursdays at 7:30 PM – the 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th and on the 7th and 21st at The Irish Snug, on East Colfax in Denver, Saturdays at 8:30 PM.
Mountain Road Ceili Band plays on the patio at The Margarita in Colorado Springs on the 20th from 6:30-9 PM as they have for the last 20 years.
Potcheen closes out the month at the Whitewater Bar and Grill in Canon City on the 28th at 9 PM.
