Sky and Marty met for the first time several years back at the Spanish peaks Celtic festival in La veta Colorado where they became fast friends and musical partners. Sky, winner of the Fiddler of London 2023 Global Diaspora Award, is a very passionate advocate for the living traditional music of Ireland. He plays fiddle, banjo, flute, guitar and the Irish bouzouki and sings as well. Marty studied under bouzouki greats Andy Irvine, Aaron Jones and Roger Landes and sings songs mainly from the British isles. Together they create an exciting, beautiful musical conversation, bringing unique melodic voices to traditional music.
