We Banjo 3 stops in Loveland on their “Rise and Shine” tour of the U.S. on the 25th when they play at 7:30 PM MST on the stage of the Rialto Theater Center, 228 E 4th Street, Loveland, CO. Tickets $45 standard, $60 VIP. A portion of the proceeds from ticket, CD and merchandise sales will be contributed to Backline, a non-profit organization that provides supportive mental health services to musicians.
Nerea the Fiddler offers a free solo concert + Q&A, Fiddling Around the World on the 1st at 2:30 PM in the Denver Central Public Library; a show with Marty Smith at the Laughing Goat in Boulder on 22nd from 8 -11 PM; with Marty on the 27th from 7:30-10:30 PM at Jack Quinn’s in Colorado Springs; a Cape Breton Fiddle Workshop and concert on the 29th at Luther Strings in Denver; workshop 2:30-5 PM, $50, concert 6-7 PM; workshop $50, concert $12, $60 for both.
The Big Paddy duo of Jon Sherman and SeanG play on the Jack Quinn’s stage from nine to midnight on the 1st.
Brian Clancy is on the Jack Quinn Irish Pub stage in Colorado Springs on the 13th at 7:30 PM.
the commoners host a cd release party for their new CD,” what’s your whiskey for” on the 8th at McClellan’s Brewing Company, Fort Collins. 6 PM – 9 PM No Cost then plays on the 29th at Black and Blues Music and Brews (that’s the name of the venue), in Loveland from 8 – 10 PM.
Avourneen opens the month playing for the Boulder Contra at 8 PM. (lesson at 7:15 PM), on the 7th in the Avalon Ballroom, 6185 Arapahoe Road, Boulder, follows that with a gig at Ned Kelly’s Irish Pub, 5686 S Sycamore St, Littleton on the 8th at 9 PM, playing for the Fort Collins Contra at 7:30 PM (lesson at 6:30) on the 15th in the Fort Collins Masonic Temple, 225 W. Oak St., Fort Collins and closes with an appearance at Jack Quinn’s Irish Pub, 21 S. Tejon St., Colorado Springs at 8:30 PM on the 22nd. Lead singer Adam Goldstein performs at the Clocktower Cabaret in downtown Denver at 11 PM on the 1st and 29th.
