The 2019 Colorado Irish Festival (CIF) will be commemorating its 25th Anniversary – July 12-14, 2019 in Clement Park, Littleton. The Fest website (ColoradoIrishFestival.com) says, “If you can’t be in Ireland, be at the Colorado Irish Festival” – and why not? There will be plenty of music with headliners that include Young Dubliners (Friday only), Gaelic Storm (Sunday only), Scythian (Sat & Sun), Jigjam (Fri-Sun) and more. Of course there will be Irish dancers, pipes and drums performing over the weekend. Plenty of food and drink on tap, with an Irish breakfast scheduled for 10AM Sunday (after 9AM Hibernian Mass).
New to CIF this year is a Family 5k Race and Walk in Clement Park in Saturday, July 13. Race Day Registration opens at 7:30am and the Race starts at 9:00am. Race participants receive an inaugural t-shirt, admission ticket to the festival and a festival drink token. The course will be timed but is also family friendly. Strollers are welcomed. Start Time: 9:00am End Time: 11:00am.Price: $35.00 Race Fee + $3.00 Sign-Up Fee. Age 11 and under is discounted.

Check the Fest website for things not admitted. Basically, leave your cooler and everything that you would put in it at home. Don’t even think about bringing weed as public consumption is illegal and there will be loads of Sheriff officers around to enforce. If you need a Service dog you can bring, keep all other dogs at home (not in cars). For your comfort you can bring a lawn chair but there are some restrictions to where you can set up. The only thing with wheels that you can bring is a baby stroller or wheelchair. The Festival is handicapped accessible with access on sidewalks and grass. Handicapped Parking is available.

No Fest bus shuttles will be offered this year. Parking is available in the North and South lots of Columbine High School and around Clement Park. CIF encourages drivers not to park in Chanson Plaza or Bowles Center shopping areas and park in designated parking areas only.
