Brian Clancy survived St. Patrick’s Day plays at Jack Quinn’s in downtown Colorado Springs at 7:30 PM on the 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30tha and at the Irish Snug on Capitol Hill in Denver at 8:30 PM on the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th.
The Indulgers and Potcheen were named Westword Music Icons in the March 13, 2015 issue. As Icons, they are excluded from being considered for an award in Westword’s 2015 Music Award competition.
And speaking of The Indulgers, they play at Conor O’Neill’s in Boulder on the 24th at 10 PM.
Angus Mohr, Celtic Legacy the 79th Highlanders and the Colorado Youth Pipe Band and Dancers perform at Colorado Tartan Day in Longmont on the 11th and 12th. http://www.coloradotartanday.com/events.html
Rare Ould Times is still on for the 18th at 8 PM at Jack Quinn’s in Colorado Springs.
the commoners play at High Country Harley Davidson in Frederick on the 11th from 1 PM – 5 PM then are on stage at Mulligan’s Pub in Fort Collins at 9 PM. On the 24th, they play at Washington’s Bar and Grill in Ft. Collins at 11 PM.
As usual, the Mountain Road Ceili Band is at The Margarita at Pine Creek in Colorado Spings on the 17th from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM. This is the 20th year they have played there monthly.
Avourneen is at Katie Mullen’s on the 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th from 9 PM – midnight, at the Celtic House Pub in Parker at 7 PM on the 4th and at the Abbey Tavern in Denver at 8 PM on the 11th and 25th. Adam Goldstein plays Irish tunes at Lannie’s Clocktower Cabaret at 11 PM on the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th.
For the Solas service at 6 PM on the 19th, Beth Gadbaw and Margot Krimmel play a Celtic service of music, reflection and Holy Communion at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Boulder.
The Irish Billy Trio plays on the 18th at the The Roost, 536 Main St., Longmont from 8:30 PM -10:30 PM.
Colcannon returns from a long month on the road to play at 2 PM on the 17th at the Longmont Senior Center, 910 Longs Peak Avenue, Longmont CO.
Kindred Spirits plays at Stella’s Coffee Haus, Old South Pearl, Denver, at 10 AM on the 19th.
Blackbird plays at the Drum Circle for Earth Day on the 18th 11-11:30 AM in Civic Center Park, Old Town Ft. Collins and again at 4 PM for the Earth Day celebration. They also play from 9 PM – 12 AM on the 23rd at the Blind Pig in Ft. Collins.
Star Edwards plays harp for an Irish Roots Presentation on the 21st at 1 PM for the Columbine Genealogy + Historical Society at the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 6400 S University, Centennial.

Apple Mountain Music in Albuquerque will offer a “Slow Celtic Session” hosted by Tom Tunney, 10AM -Noon on the first Saturday of every month beginning April 4th. The idea is to go slow enough to learn tunes. Call 505-237-2048.
