April 2018 Ceolta Notes
by Rodger Hara
(from Colcannon) Cynthia is leaving Colcannon!
After seven years as our flautist/whistler and contributor of fine tunes, Cynthia is leaving Colcannon. Given the uncertainty of the music business and the amount of time that must be spent in rehearsal to keep one’s chops in top form, she’s decided that she needs to step away and make more time for her work in translating. The parting is amicable — no fights or scandals — and we wish her the very best in ‘civilian’ life.
Her final performance with us will be this Saturday, April 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the
Richard F. Celeste Theatre – Edith Kinney Gaylord Cornerstone Arts Center, 825 N. Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903
The concert is free and a perfect chance to bid your farewells
