Adam Agee & Jon Sousa formed through the Boulder, Colorado Irish session music scene in 2003. They played together in various configurations over the following years, before moving to Ireland in mid-2008 to further immerse themselves in the music, land, and culture of Ireland. Moving back to Boulder in 2009, they started to focus their work as a duo. They regularly teach and tour nationally and internationally.
“This fiddler and guitarist from Colorado are creating waves across the States and beyond. Not only do they play the music of the Auld Country with sensitivity and soul, they also bring their own brand of modernism to the Irish tradition.” —Irish Music Magazine
Bonnie Paine, originally from Tahlequah, Oklahoma, is a founding member of the popular Colorado folk band, Elephant Revival, which formed in 2006, and who will headline Red Rocks Amphitheatre this May. In addition to her powerful vocals, Bonnie performs on stomp box, washboard, djembe, cello and musical saw.
“The ethereal voice of Bonnie Paine is one of the most instantly recognizable pieces of the musical experience that is Elephant Revival. Her multi-octave range and haunting, hushed tones is complimented by her skill on a wide variety of percussive and bowed instruments, from the washboard to cello and many points between.” —Rex Thomson, Live For Live Music
